Can't position my units?

I'm having issues where the game won't let me reposition units- restarting doesn't help sometimes. Rebooting my computer doesn't help sometimes. It sucks cause it always manages to stick me in the worst default positioning ever, where all my units are spread out between all the enemies.

Hi Hawktopus, we're sorry you have this issue. Please make sure you verify the integrity of your game files.

To verify the integrity of your files on Steam, go to your games Library, choose Banner Saga, Properties, Local Files, Verify Integrity of Game Files.

Please let me know if after taking these steps the game still does not work for you properly.

This bug is still here. Not sure how it exists so long. Only solution is to restart game entirely.

I know this thread is old but all these threads are old. I get the same thing often but not always and just figured it was how the game was meant to be.

I don't mean by restarting but I may get 2 or 3 battles where I can't pre-place and then next one I can. Then a few more I can't before another battle where I can. Now I wonder if it IS a bug?

I have it too, If it isn't a bug it should tell you whether or not it is part of the story that you can't reposition. Like your troops were surprised deal with it.

I stumbled across this glitch a few times during my playthrough. I noticed that the glitch only occurred after alt-tabbing during play.

This glitch always occurs for me when i do Bolverks training tent battles for reknown. At least for me this is the only time it happens. Squashing bugs is cool, you know, if you want to.
