If you experience the game disappearing when you launch it...

I had the problem that when I launched the game it would disappear after sitting at the loading screen for a few seconds, but it would still appear to be running in my task manager. I fixed it after changing the game resolution in the ini file.

Try changing the game resolution in the Orb.ini file. You can find it here:

Steam\steamapps\common\ORB

go to the screen width and height lines and change them to:

screen_width=1920
screen_height=1080

I obviously was trying to use 1920x1080, if you use a different resolution try subsituting your numbers for mine.

I've honestly never used windows 8 before. I would start by trying to browse your local hard drive until you find the Steam folders, then see if you can find a similary pathway as the windows 7 one and find the INI file.

It may actually be easiest to just try searching your computer for the "Orb.ini" file. Once your computer finds it, try following the rest of the directions to change the resolution.

Beyond those suggestions I'm sorry I can't be of more help with 8 :*(

tango to find your steam files go to C: > Program Files(x86) > Steam > SteamApps > Common > ORB. Then find the file that says ORB and has a gear on the corner of the icon. Then change the screen_width and screen_height to match your resolution. (Hope this helps)
