Yeah I'm only gonna buy it for the sole purpose of playing it when my college buddies come back for Christmas and the like, totally gonna crack this one out and relive some young adult memories.
As I said it's an old game, it might not even run correctly if it's quite a new computer. In another discussion someone's not able to run it on Windows 8.1. I'm surprised it works on Vista, but then I'm even more surprised that Steam would bring it out without patching it up.
For the price though it's not as if you would be losing out.
I forgot to mention xbox controllers in my post, but I only have wireless controllers. I've read in other forums it works with a wired controller, but not a wireless one, even with a usb cable.
For a list of maps see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mashed:_Drive_to_Survive#Tracks_.28Mashed:_Drive_To_Survive_Order.29
I played with that controller (yes wireless), altrough you can't use any axis as buttons, no matter what controller. I put throttle on A, and break on B. Use item on RB and drop item on LB.
I also played in 2560x1440. Everthing highter than 1280 x 1024 (5:4) will strech the video.
