Multiplayer?
The info box doesn't mention multiplayer. Does this have it anyhow? If not, why does this even exist then?

Well the original Xbox game had local multiplayer, that is all I know. My friends and I still play this game on the Xbox.

The original PC version also had local multiplayer. This one as well I'd guess. But most likely no online or LAN modes.

I think only offline multiplayer like on ps2 or old pc version, supporting up to four players on same computer, is one of the most funny game to play with friends i ever seen!!!

I would get this if there was online multiplayer, without that Im not so sure. But the price is low so maybe I give it a shot just for the sake of nostalgia.

I've just bought it and tried it now. It does support local offline multiplayer only.

Forgot to mention, that does not include LAN. All players require a controller each (except for the primary keyboard user) on one computer.

Can confirm that this has local multiplayer up to 4, just like the orignal game.

Most people don't even play the multiplayer component of a game.

Ah I'd argue Mashed's single player is pretty pointless, it is a multiplayer focused game, I love it to bit.. it's a game I spent my college years with and have fond memories but I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone who cant take advantage of the local 4 player mode.

Can you cite any references to that effect, most people I know who bought it on console bought it for the multiplayer. A PC port without LAN is disappointing.

It was in an article I read on GameSpot (or similar site) a while back. However, it wasn't referring to this specific game; it was about ALL games that had both a single and multiplayer component. (Something like only 27% played the multiplayer component.)
