Issue after converting to Mashed Fully Loaded

I have download the necessary files required to convert this game into mashed fully loaded with all the extra content, however upon starting a new game the first tutorial and first challenge series events are locked preventing me from progressing any further than the menus. Does anyone have a fix for this apart from inputting the 'unlock all' code as I and others would like to play through the game the intended way.

just remember you got to use the secret code on the main menu to unlock all the events because you'll be locked out due to the game not knowing how to setup the new events to play from the beginning LOL

It's easy to fix - delete the gamesave.bin file in the game folder, and everything will be great (all progress will be deleted accordingly)

What is this unlock all code and how do I use it? I Would love some help :(

Unlock code is not required as Problem? suggests removing the gamesave.bin file to prevent the game trying to load content from the old version, resulting in content that didn't exist in the old version being locked. If you still want to use the code to unlock everything. on the main menu screen after you press enter, enter Up , Right , Down, Left, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Down, Up, Down on your arrow keys. There won't be any indication that you correctly entered the code, but you will see that everything is unlocked now with a gold trophy. and the bonus menu will now be available.

Just don't mix Mashed with MFL. Do a clean install of MFL. It makes no sense to reuse the mashed game directory. If needed use my MashedRunner to set the language / no-intro / skip installation.
