what? my ps3 controller works fine..

you have to go to control settings and set it to gamepad

it doesn't recognize my SmartJoy adapater (with a PSX controller connected) either, while most of my other Steam games do, such as Street Fighter.

How do i use it? i do not undertand :S im using an old black xbox controller, with XBCD driver on windows 7 64 bit, works fine with mostly of games but betrayal dont recognize it =/ plz help

I think the game only recognizes Xbox 360 pads. It works fine with my Afterglow 360 controller, but it won't recognize my HORI RAP4 in PS3 or PS4 mode. I run into similar issues with D&D Chronicles.

Not sure if anyone is still having the issue but I was able to resolve it. You have to use the keyboard and mouse at first but then under help and options, go to controls, change from keyboard to gamepad. That's what had worked for me. Windows 11 PC with an aftermarket Xbox controller.
