What's with the waves actually?
Well, the wave destroyed my base but then i was in my base again and everything was normal and i didn't lost anything. What's the point?

Wave doesn't destroy your base. Only the wind turbines and small solar panels.
But this might change later in the real game; this here is just a demo.

Thanks. Seems to be a bit unrealistic for me, even in a game like this but maybe it will change in future, yeah.

It does not delete the large solar panels so after you have created them the wave does not do anything except interrupt the game for a short time.

The wave is incredibly annoying, what about people who don't like to see things like that...like me, can we not turn it off?? the T /v 999999 doesn't work. so unless there's an option to turn it off in the full game, I won't buy it.

Or after it shows the wave the first time you could just hold space bar to skip it like it says. Full game is also going to have different planet types so you could always just not do the ocean world if it annoys you that much.

Yes I am doing that, does this save the power unit or does it still disappear, Thanks for letting me know about the full game, If I don't have to play the water world I'll buy it.

Guys, press J to see the tasks. There are some buildings to unlock, and also a task to disable the wave.

I don't have anything against the waves, but they should be a fright, not be annoying.

Don't understand me wrong, as i saw the camera zooming out first, i was wondering, then i saw this huge wave with the cinematic soundtrack and i was like "Oh, hell no." and then i saw my Base completely wiped out...

And then.. nothing. One windmill was gone and that's it. I can understand that this is probably intended for small children who otherwise cry when their base is gone... But the developers should at least give an option, including in the prologue. This is actually nothing difficult.

I just hope in full release the waves can be vanish whole bases. Otherwise the waves are... ridiculous for making them seem so “powerful.”

Personally I wish there was a building damage and repair mechanic in the game. each wave can do various amount of damage to each building, etc. Sometimes it's just light damage, other times it's more severe and knocks that building or whatever it may be offline until it's repaired, and sometimes it just completely wipes out a building. Having the waves have random damage potential adds to the dread of each wave and gives more urgency to trying to stop the waves.

You should be able to skip the wave now, by pressing space bar

Deconstruct all items that could be destroyed. It's one reason I say the wave needs greater consequence. Much too easy to sidestep.

So you have to build the large solar if you read them says it will with stand extreme hazards but as long as in a safe spot you only lose small generators but you can hold space to skip the movie. Then when you keep playing and build the rocket launch tower you make a rocket to stop the wave all together

I actually tried to build a fully enclosed building the hight of the turbines to place them in, in hopes that they would be safe but nope. The wave clips through the structure and knocks down the turbines regardless.
