My Feedback, for Whatever That's Worth
So, I'm one of the, I assume, many people who wandered over to this game from Planet Crafter. I am NOT an experienced "Factory" game style player, I'm a survival game player.;

So, the things I found frustrating/unintuitve might be right up "Factory" game player's alley.

1. I enjoyed the prologue and will keep an eye on the game as it develops towards full release.

2. Spaceship controls need work but you guys know that.

3. Please add a way to skip the tidal wave after the first time. I know you can put in a command to disable it, but all repeated cutscenes in all games should be skippable after the first one.

4. My big issue with the game is that automation feels cumbersome. Again, maybe this is the bread and butter experience for Satisfactory etc, games, but for me, I just felt like I was running back and forth and managing things as much as if I wasn't doing automation at all. I want more control over where conveyors go when I lay them down, sometimes they picked WILD courses.

I was excited to see structures with multiple inputs, and "combiner' and "splitter" linking sockets, but, with no way to turn individual conveyors on and off, no way to turn individual manufacturing structures on and off, and no way to reserve or segment inventory slots, I wound up making separate lines for everything which got sprawling and tedious fast.

Warehouses seem...just too big, physically.

I'd like a top down "planner" view where I could lay out structures neatly on a grid, snap conveyor paths precisely, and generally have an overview of what the heck was going on without physically running back and forth constantly.

Not sure what purpose the building blocks have.

Not sure why water is so deadly beyond the normal running out of air.

The water network seemed to require A LOT of coaxing to recognize new pump nodes, I'd add new pumps and it really wanted to say the total network volume was the same unless I reconnected everything and fiddled a lot.

I DID like the game. The deformable terrain was fun. Once I figured out the steamroller buggy dig radius could be expanded that was fun as heck. The feeling of accomplishment when I finished my land bridge to the second island was palpable. I just want some quality of life improvements that let me make bases that are more planned, less messy, less sprawling, with more flow control over production. I look forward to see how things develop. Good luck!

You can take a look at the artwork and then build it using a drone perspective. Press V

When was the last time you played because the last update they did added "hold space bar to skip" for the wave after the first time. They've also tweaked the ship controls

Aha, serves me right! After the first (however many times) I would go pee or get a drink or check email or whatever during the tidal wave and missed the change, thank you.

Sadly, I feel the spaceship controls are still pretty squirrely.

Yeah, I was hoping for something like a "Manager console" you could build in your shelter and then manipulate things on a more formal grid, turn production pipelines on and off, redirect resources, etc.

Yeah spaceship controls I agree with.

what would really help is having a separate mouse sensitivity control while flying.

also really need more controls overall:

Space = ascend

control = descend

w = forward / accelerate

s = brake / reverse

and then a control for full stop which also acts like a hover mode.

The hover mode, yes, i agree totaly
