Ocean World: Eden Crafters Prologue

Ocean World: Eden Crafters Prologue

WAREHOUSES STILL DON'T WORK !!!!
New "update" and warehouses still BROKEN !!!!!
WHAT IDIOT THINKS WAREHOUSES SHOULD FILL ONLY HALF !!!! (5/9)
if you are not going to put them back they way they started as in "WORKING"
JUST REMOVE THEM !!!
AS IS THEY ARE NOTHING BUT A TIME WASTE RUNNING BACK EVERY 3 MIN To CHANGE THE INVENTORY !!!

lets recap . . .
they were working fine,
you broke them,
added a stupid way the belt adds items in the middle so that it now stops filling

that reminded me . .
also SOMETIMES, not every time
when the warehouse stops filling because of stupidity it will -EAT- the mats
warehouse stops filling at 5/9,
belt keeps moving mats in,
nothing added to warehouse !
all mats just LOST after the 5/9 blockage
not everytime but i have noticed it a few times

Well, the way they were initially is also not an option because... The player will then not have the opportunity to regulate the proportion with which the warehouse will be filled with the same items. When there is no proportionality, it is more difficult to save up for the construction of large buildings. Do you want to manually calculate how much the warehouse will be filled with one type of item and another in 10 minutes in order to understand whether there will be enough other free slots and that there will still be enough resources for construction? It's a headache. Yes, the solution is to build 1 warehouse for each item, but how many warehouses are needed and how long will it take? I don't want to waste that much time.
An alternative is to tie a specialized slot not to the conveyor, but so that the player can choose any slot and make it specialized. It will take less than a minute.

I mean the old version of the game, where there were no specialized slots at all, then you would have to calculate.

Have you considered decaf? It's a game, and it's still a work in progress. You're ranting in all caps like someone burned your house down.

joeblackBop is the reason devs stop developing. Idiots like you are completely irrational and unhelpful, especially when the game is early access, will have issues, and you damn well KNEW there would be issues, yet you go off on unhinged rants for no valid reason. Once in your life, maybe try and be helpful, kind and use some common sense...which you are obviously short of.

Get over yourself, loser. It's a free in development game. Take your medicine.

Here's an idea: For every item hooked up to a given warehouse (including multiple 1-ingredient belts merged into one (though I really wouldn't recommend that lmao)) a second section of the storage menu now exists to limit the amount of slots that are assigned to specific items, allowing the player to click on a given item, and then click on a slot to assign a slot so only that item can fill that slot (up to maximum naturally).

Or, every slot fills, but all planet-wide Warehouses assign one row to a given ingredient based on a first-come, first-served basis.
Maybe also in conjunction with this: If a Warehouse A has a belt inserting iron plates into it, but Warehouse B also gets a belt doing the same, then the belt inserting into Warehouse B will instead insert into Warehouse A from Warehouse B's port.
This will ensure that you have limited storage capacity for a given item, incentivizing building higher level Warehouses but you also never have a real problem being unable to store building materials of any kind in Warehouses.

The solution to the 2nd idea's next problem of "But there's a ton of ingredients, more than 4!" is literally just building more warehouses lmao. Just dedicate Warehouse 1 to storing Warehouse building materials, they're literally only costing 4, so it's completely fine.

I think both will work fine.

Also warehouses work in my save when it comes to building things from warehouse material storage, so idk what the title is about, should be modified to reflect more of a "warehouse storage is iffy" which I can see. It's not only misleading, but it's kind of just wrong, considering 2-ingredient input production structures potentially can have the same problem because they have 3 input slots and none of them are reserved for the ingredients the chosen crafted item require. Really they should only have either 2 or 4, half slots reserved for each ingredient in the chosen recipe.
Greetings Warehouse V1 just allows to store items no increase (20).

Warehouse V2 adds 10 for the first three V2 warehouses (30), (40) and (50) any more than three V2 warehouses just adds additional space.

Cheat: Build a building over water then destroy it = new land, with this you can create a bridge between islands.

This game reminds me of Satisfactory, also the same slowdown is apparent when creating Copper Wire in both Satisfactory and "Ocean World: Eden Crafters Prologue"

Doubt it and no, not in the "biz". Years of dev work yes. However, I at least have the manners and courtesy to help the devs with suggestions, not useless rantings of stupidity.

When did an issue with warehouses crop up? I use dozens and haven't noticed an issue.... "5/9" in particular is confusing. I do doubt legitimacy of any dev work outside of League chat moderation. I can't name a company that that kind of personality wouldn't drive them into the ground.
