What happened to that game? I was looking forward to it.

Sacrilegium is on hold. Reality Pump is a small team, and everyone is working on Raven's Cry. When most of the bugs are removed and not everyone is needed for RC, then I think the work on Sacrilegium will continue.
I haven't heard that it was cancelled.

The development of Sacrilegium was stopped, because of Raven's Cry. After Raven's Cry is finished for all platforms, we will decide what game comes next.

Never heard of Sacrilegium.
If it's RPG count me interested, if not, well... Sorry, I rarely buy nonRPG stuff.

Idk if it's going to be a RPG (don't think so) or an action adventure (I guess they're going in that direction)... but it definitely sounds great.

It says nothing about the game genre there, just theme genre - which is horror. And horror can be any game genre actually...

It does however mention QTE among features and that's something I hated in Risen 2 (traps), Risen 3 (armwrestling) and in The Witcher 2 (several places). Apparently The Witcher 3 kicked that lame design out as many players, me included, hated it.

Depends on the QTEs in Risen 2 / 3 the traps were avoided by pressing spacebar.
Well after the game's put on hold it's design might not be carved in stone. :)
