I mean I get all that "cursed development" and all that.... but why release it then? Surely you KNEW how bad it was? I mean you played it right?
So why release it when you did, if you knew you needed at least another 6 months to go back and re-record voice acting, fix bugs, make the game into.... you know.... a game.
Without a valid reason for doing that in the first place, you won't convince many people who bought this game that you are on the level.
The only way you can really expect people to get behind you, believe you, and even beging to trust you, is to just be honest. Not hiding your honesty behind smartly worded statements and marketing spiel, but just being downright honest.
EDIT: I read it on the webiste :( But why? Was it to hard to produce some discs in that long time? And a day one patch on november 20th is better then waiting until Q1 2016! This makes no sense at all for me. Many games in the past were released for pc first and later for the consoles so I don't understand this argument: "We want to release the retail version not before the PS4 version." Please clarify!
Hopefully I'll finish FO4 by 20th. ;)
- on Nov. 20, Vendetta will be released on all digital stores (not only Steam).
- retail versions will be released together with the PS4 version next year.
- in the next few days we will setup a website for free upgrade requests
Today it makes no sense to release a retail PC version without any console version at the same time. This is not a question of the customers, this is a problem from the retailers.
Do steam users who own the game get the game automatically?
