Active Players / Alliance (and why to join one)
If you can't tell, the community that plays this game is small. Here's a take on things related to player numbers which may help decide who you join up with to play and what groups to form.

**Average Concurrent Players**: Just over 3,500 a day. Highest Peak was 5K

**Average Play Time Per Player**: 40 ish hours

So **Regular Players** are only a few thousand. That means if you get into an Alliance of active players, you are already in a very, VERY small group that can kick some serious butt.

Let's assume There are 10,000 players, overall, per 24 hours logging in and off and actively playing.

**Only 40% of Players have opened an epic Crate**
So 60% of people who got this game stop playing before getting a single epic crate.

**Only 16% of Players have opened a LEGENDARY Crate**
That means 84% of people who got this game, never make it to the end of a season, complete any event, complete heli's, recruitment, or other options that allow for a Legendary Crate to drop and open up.

**Only 10% of players have opened 500 crates**
Reasonably ball parking that at even just 100 hours of gameplay, that means 90% of people who got this game have NOT put in 100 hours of play time.

**Only 5% have Rebooted 20 times, and only 6% have unlocked Dominica's Scene**

So again, over 94-95% of players who got this game have not put in over 40 hours or done much progress.

**Only 1% have had 500 battles**
that's the big one.

**What This Means**: Join an Allaince! Profit

Guesstimating, that means if you are part of a 20 or 30 or more member Alliance, you are already up in the ranks of the 1% of folks that are playing the game, progressing, and unlocking higher tier rewards, drops, etc.

There's likely only 100 or so actual ACTIVE alliance across the game.

So alliance up! Find an alliance that is active and put in the work. That's your biggest chance to unlock Legendaries, get rewards and climb the ranks past 13.

The 1st place members in leader boards have clearly spent a LOT of IRL money. Like ridiculous amounts. The Mascots, generals, crates, etc. alone cost a few hundreds bucks.

So if you don't have the clout to spend hundreds of dollars, An Alliance is absolutely your best bet at making any kind of progress.

As a working adult, I decided I can't afford the time commitments required to be in an alliance anymore. I'd started one, we'd reached level 5, were doing relatively well with a solid core of active players, and then while I moved, my internet provider sent me the wrong component and was without internet for a week. Upon my return, some had jumped ship, and I had to face reality that 1) I can't justify the time commitments required to be an active daily participant. 2) The literal thousand+ dollars I spent to maintain relevancy with the competition in alliance wars/obtain the expensive crates (legendary crates, blue event currency that isn't war bonds and I can't recall the name of, etc) wasn't worth it any longer for me to pull the sled. I appointed a different leader, explained what happened and that I wasn't reliable and aware of that any longer, stepped down, and haven't regretted it since. *Shrug*

Mine is level 10. I can't commit a LOT of time, but since i game daily, it run missions in the background of my PC regardless.

Usually get 3-4 gold crates a week without being OVERLY active. Some nights I literally do my e-mail and other stuff and just click auto battle every few minutes
