I figured that out already before touching this insidious trashware. I made a post about it a while ago and it got replied by a bot account running the scam.

It seems the target audience is also the people that pay cam ♥♥♥♥♥♥ more than what they usually make so I would not be surprised if they don't care they are being scammed.

This is the way. It will very likely mean that at some level, you're facing overpowered leaders and overpowered mercs, either from the AI or from people who do play to win.

But within those boundaries I consider it to be an entertaining quick game. Definitely worth the $0 I've paid so far.

Although OP definitely has a point that the prices in the game are completely insane, asking the price of a full AAA game for a single leader or merc... Reminds me of that South Park freemium episode.

By rigging it in the developers' favor so you must spend money to advance. Its a free to play game on the surface, yet as you progress through, they make it so that if you don't spend the predetermined amounts, you just keep staying in the same league forever. I just spent a month in league 6 after making it to L5. I won a couple of matches in L5 and lost like 10 in a row, got sent back to L6 until today. My mech powers had reached 37k and the recommended level displayed by the game for L5 is 29.6K, even lower for L6. So I happened to spent 40 bucks today and suddenly I won like 10 -12 matches in a row and found myself in L4! They are shameless and greedy. The saying 'there is no such thing as a free lunch' fully applies to this game. Between the thresholds and other stuff they do to try and frustrate a player enough to make them spend money, no this is not a free to play game. Its a wolf in sheep's clothing.

People are into addictive things unfortunately. Like cigarettes, alcohol, and gambling. This game is just a skin for an online casino game that millions are playing everyday and losing boat loads of money yet they can't or won't quit. Look at Paul up there, in a post pointing out that this is a scam of all sorts, he is still posting a promo to install the game so he can get a few gems! LOL but so sad.

Unfortunately their prices are a norm in mobile games. This is an x rated port of a similar game. Or, vice versa. Called Goddess Lyssa last I checked. I am guessing the OP hasn't played many of them. For as weird as it seems, there must be a lot of heavy spenders keeping games like this alive. Can buy a whole new computer for the price of maxing a character out, but, there you have it. Must be nice to have that much money. I'd use it differently, but it's theirs to use not mine.

I've been playing over a yr casually but have 3 accounts. That might seem like a contradiction, but since you only play for like 15 minutes before getting locked out of crate rewards, I jump to another account etc. I haven't spent any money on this game since I consider the pricing to be absurd/ a rip off. I can still play though, so can't complain much since it's free.

I figure they would over all make more money if they would lower the prices, but I'm no expert on such matters.
