She sets enemies to 1 attack for 1 turn ON ENEMY SPAWN. Gotta read if you want to play strategy games.

She is causing me a lot of problems. I got her down to 1 expecting to kill her with anyone left in the line on the next turn, but she stole their attack to effectively setting them to 0,

Yes. That was what I was talking about. Seems if all your ladies in front of her have been killed, you might as well surrender, as you will not be able to place another without her zeroing them and killing them.
Maybe this only happens to people who don't spend spend spend on the game.

Dealing with Asha is similar to dealing with Kitty. She only set attack to 1 when a new merc is placed. It can be worth skipping a turn just to kill her.

Alternatively, indirect damage like poison, infection and Ginny can kill her too.

damage beck becomes 0, as well as ANY character, except for the immune one, the only option, as far as I understand, except for the immune one is AoE/infection/poison. And ONLY from the other line, about the line in which Asha is - forget about it.

Rachie's "suppress" skill can also help with difficult mercs like Asha.

I just saw "funny" thing, yumiko "heals" asha skill = asha set unit damage to 0 then yumiko set it back to full = asha useless, when, there is yumiko

Skip turn is good choice often too = her skill wont trigger
