Corrupted saves...
V1.5

Completing the story in which you get the ship back online for a jump, via ASMI, and right as I am loading into the Bridge to initiat the Jump Sequence, the game freezes upon loading and currupts the save.

So, after all that time not dying, I can't finish the storyline. The "Resume Saved Game" simply plays the intro sequence.

This sucks as it was my first time that close to a victory... and now I am still winless because of it. Starting to think that the "bugs" are both inside and out in this game.

Sorry to hear that Slyfox. Did you resume the game which was played in a previous build? You may be a bit more relieved to hear that you are still quite a way from the end of that storyline when entering hyperspace.

It is not often the game should crash, and when it does, the crash happening at time of save should be very rare.

It may be a bit late now, but if ever you do get a crash, please post the last 10 lines of the launch log :

It is located in the udkgame/logs folder for your install directory. It should be the last dated log in the list if the game has just crashed. With that last 10 lines of the log, I can normally get a better indication of the reason for the crash.

Thanks for the reply. It is a bit late now for the log, but I'll be sure and do that if that happens again. In response to your question, no, it was not a save from a previous build.

However, the very next game I played just happened to be the same storyline, so I was able to get through it pretty quickly up to the point where the game crashed before and corrupted my save. Made it past that point and a little ways further... was quite surprised to see that there is still a bit more to do. Kudos to that. ;)

As much as I want the level to be over (so I can stop fretting all the time), it is nice to see the storyline continuing.

Hi Slyfox I have found on average in all the storylines I have completed I was always a good 90 minutes from completion, just when I could see the finishing line.Often left me with no or very little light and low on oxygen thinking I was nearly done.Other than Riggs Quick exit which is as it says .Sneaky these devs.
