Thank you for abandoning this game, devs. :(
The fact that you left this game with so many bugs and glitches still, haven't answered recent discussion posts, and still ask for money, it impresses me.

When I got this game on sale, and seeing the "very positive" status on reviews, I thought maybe things got fixed since I last heard about it years ago.

Nope. Still a mess, with lighting rendering errors, no more dev support, and still charging money, while Portal Stories Mel is completely free, and offers more hours of gameplay, more story, and just far better and more professional level design.

The lighting issue is caused for AMD owners. It's why Portal 2 and Portal Stories Mel recently added Vulkan Support.
It's not just lighting. People have reported about the 32-bit limit issue with the workshop, as well as other issues, but are getting silence.

The workshop is ♥♥♥♥, don't use that. I should make a site for map sharing.

This mod is not worth $1.
Honestly, I got it on sale, and although it's not as good as Portal Stories Mel IMO, I still see the effort that was put into it. More so after playing dev commentary.
The discussion I posted seems rather mean now that I look at it. I still think it's not worth 5 dollars, and I'm not a fan of the lack of continued support. But I do wish the team the best of luck for the future.

I've already beat that game, actually.

I like this game much, much better than Reloaded, this game is fit for sale, though around a $1 price tag. The game is not buggy or broken at all, the only drawback is the lack of support.
There's the major lighting rendering error that every mod for Portal 2 and Portal 2 has fixed with Vulkan Support, except this mod. So dark areas are bright, and lit areas are dark.

Afaik, Portal 2 only recently did that despite coming out in 2011. I don't have this rendering error, fairly sure it's only on AMD gpus. AMD gpus aren't very good anyways.
If AMD wasn't very good, it wouldn't be a competitor with NVidia. When I upgraded to AMD Hardware, most game I would run on medium/high could now all be run on Ultra.
Don't go blaming the customers for the lack of technical support of the game devs.

Where did I blame the customers? Also, AMD is actually very good, with CPUs. I just said their GPUs weren't. Learn to read SMH 🙄🙄🙄🙄🤣🤣🤣🤣
You're blaming the owners of the hardware because when I explained about the major lighting bug, you were like "eh, it's not their fault. It's the AMD owner's fault." Like it's not the devs responsibility to fix this rendering issue. Claiming that it doesn't matter since "AMD GPUs aren't that good anyways" is saying it's the people that use AMD that are at fault.

Honestly dude, if you just came to here to tell the many people still having problems with this game, left unchecked by the devs for years, that what they're dealing with is just in their head and that the game is flawless, don't do that.

Where did I blame the owners? I firmly believe it is the dev's responsibility to fix this.
Then why didn't you say that the devs should fix the rendering errors? All you said was that "AMD GPUs aren't that good anyways", like we shouldn't have gotten AMD if we didn't want these bugs, making it our fault.

The game first launches in exclusive full screen mode at a tiny resolution which crashes explorer on my 4k monitor and stops the game from opening. Then when you fix it borderless window doesn't allow you to alt tab which defeats the purpose.
This isn't a reason why Tag is a bad mod. I had the same problem with Reloaded

I do not have these issues with Portal, Portal 2, Portal Reloaded, or Portal Stories Mel and the main menu bug is 100% the fault of the mod. The voice acting I heard during the opening was also very amateur for a portal game. After dealing with all of these issues and seeing the low quality voice acting and videos it was an easy decision to refund my $1.
The main menu thing is absolutely the fault of the mod. If you only listened to the opening and just decided, "eh". I completely get why you refunded it. "The voice acting was very amateur for a portal game." It's not an official game, its a fan made mod. If you think this voice acting was bad, go check out Prelude, Factum Solus, or Rexaura. The reason the voice acting was shotty was because this isn't as professional as Mel. It didn't have as big of a team.

You don't need a big team to have competent voice acting. Just hire the right people.
Portal Reloaded was made by mostly one person, but had Harry101UK do the voice acting.
