there should have been titanium in the left overs of the mountain.
Do you have a savegame from before blowing it up?
If so please send it to support@imagineearth.info.

Best, Martin
1) I made sure to put the landing pod EXACTLY where the arrow pointed - my previous save was on a tile next to it that I liked better. I noticed with the pod on the exact tile, the bosses landing pod and subsequent rubble did appear properly.
2) The do-over bomb and rubble, the rubble did have titanium - but it was not enough to do the quest. I managed to get past the damn level though, by taking the "claim land" tech, and then claiming a string of tiles to the titanium deposit halfway around the planet.
In addition we will make sure the titanium deposit is big enough to fullfill the goal.
Both fixes will be included in the next release coming these days.
I even did the walkthrough and no titanium ever occurred.
No one should buy this game: The titanium issue is a known bug that no one in the years of this game being sold has ever been resolved.
Do not buy this game as it is defective.
I started a new game, did all of these things again, there was no titanium.
Went to the internet to find out alternatives to the no titanium issue; said there was none.
If it was fixed, it sure didnt work for me.
I have since uninstalled this game since steam feels Ive played it too long not being able to resolve the lack of titanium required to pass the level.
blown the mountain next to it, nothing there. tried claimed that land, nada.
