Ceremonial sacrifice what does each flame mean in terms of points?

you have the yellow flame the blue flame and the purple flame, their for awhile the left most person purple middle light blue and right purple gave me 29 patience now it seems to give me 19 patiences.

that i was asking myself too...... regarding to the dream archive ( toturial) the order and colour and zeal of the follower determine the outcome...... how and why only cthulhu knows^^

hmmmm was thinking about it too but was discouraged because it is 3^3 possible variations and then comes zeal on top and all with a 15 min cooldown per try....

i maybe a mad man who test most thinks to the bones but this takes too long to get a reliable result ^^

but if you find a thing .... i and at least some other would more than apreciate if you would share your insights fellow highpriest ^^

true you could just sake 30 people and get 30ish or more patiences? But yea i figured it a combo system like two blues and one yellow would give you more fanisems spelling and less patiences?

the ritual must have a benefit......everything in this games has uses......even the unnecessary moving tool ( haven't used it once in 80 h but still i see a use)......... the fanatsicm gain/loss is tied to your cult fanatcsim lvl but i think that the ritual gives on avagrage more patience and fanatcsim and it also provide you with faith what the others not do...... or maybe it is meant to be a faith boost and the rest is a bonus like the altar gives you favour the lighthouse people and the ritual is for faith...... it would make sense in this game

This ritual does make some players mad. The outcomes are repeatable but not predictable. So experimentation with the order and use of flame colors is encouraged.
Also, the outcomes reshuffle on each map so you cannot transfer the knowledge.

This ritual does make some players mad. The outcomes are repeatable but not predictable. So experimentation with the order and use of flame colors is encouraged.
Also, the outcomes reshuffle on each map so you cannot transfer the knowledge.

hmmmm the question remining is "is that only for you on this map on this playthough?"

The devs said that they reshuffle each map.... this could mean that on each map start a random seed is generated and every time you start the map new it is different........or it is a random seed that is created on game install and it is diferent for each person......


i would like to ask if not too much....
what was the lowest you got? is it for example more worth then 3 rituals with a lighthouse or the alter (wihch takes only 3 min overall)

and last but not least.... really great job for testing and i mean it... as i said this is one of the tedious things to test and get accruate resuslts... maybe that the reason the devs said it drives people mad... at least we know it only trial and error^^

not sure but this was the first combo i got that wasa that high, the alter over the pit is 3 to 4 per person the down side is if it is 4 that is 10 unemployed that has to die which could tank your faith and make you loose the game. I think the light house is the same but it has a large time sink till you can use it again. over all i use the alt where you kill three to get 28 then i will use maybe 5 at the light house because i might need another 5 people to show up so i can sack 5 their etc. Same for the alter above the hole.

So basically it looks like this 20mins at the cermonal alter gives me 28, the alter over the pit would be 4 times 7ish to get me 28, same for lighthouse. their is also a degree i think that gives you 30 for killing 12 of your follewers at once?

there is a degree for patience in exchnge for people to be sure i think is was homeless ^^ but that not the point

so TL;DR the hall is more efficent than the altar/lighthouse.... or at least it seems like after your tests

In case anyone was wondering, burning Initiates vs Acolytes doesn't make a difference to the result, so just burn spare initiates that you don't have use for - don't waste fungus ascending them.

The best combo I've had so far is +38 Patience / + 3,400 Faith. Not sure if that's the best possible but it's the best one I've managed to get so far.
