Limit for Savegames?

is there a limit for savegames, especially the auto-saves? I just deleted like 20 savegames from last evening because I start a new game today.

I really don't need all that data on my ssd. it's fine having auto-saves set to 10 or 15 mins but I whish I could also choose a limit for maximum saves. maybe 5 should be enough.

You can set a limit in game settings. By default it is a super high number.

edit: couldn't find it. only the option for the auto-save frequency (5,10,15,30,60 and disabled).
