I read someone mentioned sandbox mode is coming later on - was there a link to the roadmap i can check out or can this be confirmed?
Also, in its current state, is there much replayability? It seems to hand hold and linear direct you to what needs to be done next. I get it for a tutorial but is there (or will be) a mode where you just start on an island ad can sort of decide how you go with the randome events coming up?

As much as it hurts me to say this, there is not much replayability in chapters yet. We are planning to address this in first two big patches
