Just a thought. Maybe instead of random "circles" we can carve the actual simple symbols, like in Turgor or Arx fatalis? Could be much more immersive.

The instructions are not perfect for this game, we know ;) You can carve whatever you want, the circles just indicate the AREA and ORIENTATION where the carving needs to be made. So any horizontal or vertical shape which is more or less size of the circle will do. You can do flowers, hearts etc.

Oh.. Ooooh. I feel dumb now... My poor cultists had to wear the ugly "areas" on their backs instead of beautiful Eldrich symbols!

Maybe then you can add something to the instructions, maybe in the occult-cryptic way

The funny things is that what your worte is allready written in the book in the bottom left of the book.. It is not like the preview or the version of the first week anymore......

I dont wanna blame anyone because i felt in that trap too......

But the game tells your exatly what you have to do... and i mean it by excatly.. People just need to read/listen and obey like a good disciple of the deep........

If have to change anything you have to make it cryptic and misleading you know the oposite from what it is know......... because that seem what the people are think are your instructions like in every other game in modern gaming but you went back old school with a 2 chapter toturial and Cthulu knows what comes in the 3. chapter


i dont want to be in your postion you already hat to dismiss the cthulu talk because people didnt get it and thought it was all mumbo jumbo to cover up EA ..... but you know, i know and a few other know that every word of you and in the game has meaning.... But not a hidden one
