How do you connect buildings?

I can't figure out for the life of me how to connect the buildings. I put roads all around them and they still aren't connected. Is there something I'm missing?

Same, I literally paved the whole map in road and they still wouldn't connect.

you got to connect the roads to the temple looking building which is the main storage

Believe me when I say I've paved the whole map that it includes everything around the temple looking building :)

This sounds like a bug! Connecting the building to the main building should be enough for it to work.
Could you maybe try to reset the game and try again? Or send me a save file so we can check it out via our Discord or at contact[at]crazygoat.games please?

Yeah I watched that, but I'd prefer not to place everything exactly where they did... going to try again.
