Finally a game where you get to worship an elder god that seeks bodies rather than making the world better.

Pros:
- Cthulhu
- Tentacles
- Colony Sim
- Sacrifices
- Great aesthetics
- Easy UI to navigate

Cons:
- Camera movement should be allowed via the right mouse button to allow for a beverage in the other.
- When you purchase a new building you should get a tutorial for it before placing it (see corn)
- Builder hut should be your first build item, not 3rd.
- Does the radius around a building pertain to what it affects or is it superfluous?
- Finding out the temple needs the houses built around it would be great before you placed homes.
- Terms, such as Lucid Dreaming, in context with the game needs a hover over tool tip to explain it better.
- Let us know roads are necessary at the start.
- Take us to the bonfire the first time. Don't just have a static icon that's easy to ignore.
- The Beacon Ritual: You choose the beacon and not the main altar? Differentiate new main buildings.
- Pylons: Don''t show us swapping to other maps when the pylons are placed on the initial one.

Overall it's a great game, however the devs need to bring in fresh eyes of a new player to find their initial failings. The game feels like it has so much promise and I will purchase it without hesitation due to the themes and general uniqueness. The demo left with me with many questions that were only answered after the fact, rather than prior. There's a list of things I'd like to see for additional clarity but let's keep this short.

It was generally pretty good, I thought; some parts did take some experimentation to get right, but to be honest, that's not really a problem. They do say roads are necessary but you kind of have to look for it.

Agree on some of the terminology; lucid dreams e.g.

The main thing is, it feels like the devs assume youv'e played this sort of game before and therefore doesn't feel the need to explain certain 'tropes'. In my case that's not a problem, but if you haven't I can see how that'd be confusing at times. Still... it's not that bad.

The graphics are competent; the soundwork however is pretty great, and it sets a nice mood.

Looking forward to seeing the full game. :)

Hello Binky Woodsworth, Your insights are great! Thank you. We will try to address some of these in our next demo

It would be great to see the fidelity of the ritual animations get better. Right now they are really very raw. Also in term of texture quality on the "protagonisitc" characters. Tentacles and all.
This contrasts starkly from, for example, the fidelty of the water sorrounding the island. There is more refinement here. In general, much better texture work, maybe slightly higher geometry, would be appreciated.
Unless this is meant for phone. Then I understand completely.

There are some very nice ways to rig tentacles, I would advise you guys to give the "abyss" a more elevated look so that you can make them a little more animated without clipping. the immediate areas. As they are so big.

It is a tought part of the whole deal but, I believe, well worth paying A LOT of attention too. They are tidbits that keep you going all the way to the final parts of the game.

Also, it would be great to see more variety in the types of animated faces in the different houses. I think you guys use CC4? Well there is a lot you can do there. And it's not very difficult.

I am sure if you guys keep at it, you will get there. Just remember to add the details. We are all well fed on rts young and old. Especially(speaking only about the fundamentals) the kind you guys are doing.
Make it shine.

I am 110% certain you will have a dedicated following!

A new Ai tool was just dropped called "deep-live-cam" via github, really easy install, you guys should check out if it can be used to animate the worker portraits or something small like that.
