Is there an "export selection" in Krita?

I've been using Krita for quite a while, but every time I want to export some seperate art assets I always have to give them new files which takes a lot longer than I'd like it to be.

Sorry, no -- that's currently missing. Let's see whether we can get it into next version. There are some things to think about, though:


* do we save the selection of the current layer (like copy/paste does)
* or do we save the selection on the complete image
* and if so, what about layers -- do we save only the complete rendered image, or do we save the layers individually when saving to a format that supports layers.

I took a look at my copy of CS2, and that doesn't have export selection, so at least we're free to choose how to do this :-)
