Edit ONLY 1 Layer?
I've tried this software multiple times and if any of you artists know how digital art works, you know you need to be able to exclusively edit certain layers. Is this possible? I can't figure it out.

"exclusively edit certain layers" - what can this possibly mean? Draw at multiple layers simultaneously? Or do geometry transformation for multiple layers at the same time?

If the first one then I not seen this in Krita and frankly idk what this can mean - how can an application automatically decide what to apply to which layer? But the second is quite possible - you need to select several layers, unlock them all, if some were blocked, and go.

I think it means exactly what I said. EXCLUSIVELY edit certain layers. It is pretty straightforward.

Though if you do not have an answer, I'd rather you avoid replying.

you can do edits at a group-layer level if needed.
For example ctrl-t, the advanced transform function, can edit all layers of a group. The basic "t" move tool will not, however.
