You can build Aseprite from its open source code but it's also on Steam. It's just an easy way to support the developers.

I am on donation. I am testing betas and builds, when I have the time on my hands. I don't really want Steam accidentally interfering with any of the builds.

I still subscribed to this Steam forum, so I can see all new posts and potential questions that drop in. This is slow enough to follow.

It's free from their Site however if your want the comfort of auto updates and tracked player time than its also for Sale here. Buying it here helps support the dev's who make Krita as good as they can :> ?

I've been donating semi-regularly as well, but boy does auto-update sound ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ convenient. Any other features for the Steam version?
