Krita
Krita keeps crashing my GPU driver
Hello, as per title for few months I keep having a problem with Krita, that roughly after 10 minutes of using it, my drawing screen - Huion Kamvas 22 will turn green and the system will hang for a minute.

After that my graphics Driver will restart, restore factory settings and inform me that it has crashed.

I am using 2 monitor setup
CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor
GPU - AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT
Ram - 32 GB

It started around 3 months ago, but at the time I had problems with some games due to AMD releasing faulty drivers, were since fixed but my problems with Krita persist.

I moved to CSP and Rebelle (and back to Gimp) for the time being, but there are functions in Krita I need to use.

In case this is wrong place for bug report, can someone tell me where should I post this instead? thanks in advance

what's ur OS?

What's your render API on Krita did you use OpenGL or direct?

most of the time it's the GPU's fault since you said your screen turned green,
or power supply or ram
or windous

rollback to the older driver that was working for Krita.

OS is Windows
I just checked, Driver is set to "auto - Direct 3D"

Listing all computer components doesn't really help, GPU drivers or Krita config is the most logical. I only have problem with Krita, rollback is not an option as it would cause me problems with other software / games I tend to use + as I said, AMD had some faulty drivers in last quarter of 2022, now it's stable.

I can just assume you will suggest I change it to OpenGL and see if it crashes, and I will probably try it later.

idk
gtx1080ti + AMD r5 3600x + windows 10 64

works fine with direct.

as I heard a lot of games work with amd gpu but some games like Disgaea won't work with it

most of the time it helps devs fo diagnose ,maybe you get better help with them

I switched to OpenGL and it works great, even better than it did before.

I posted here under assumption that devs check here too, oh well, I will drop report when I get a moment
