Comic/Manga template
In the templates how dose someone make slanted corners. Instead of straight Rectangles I thought it would look cool with slanted angles, for a Art contest.

instead of straight borders some could be slanted:slimetabby:
Thanks. It is way better with the example :ori:

So what you need is not "slanted corners", but panels being not rectangular in shape. I played with this comic template a bit and I see no better way to do it aside from using "Polygon Tool" on "Mask" layer to create new panel frames. Because template has them rectangle and they stay rectangle no matter what you do with them.
  1. Switch to the layer called "Mask".
  2. Select an ink brush and setup your brush to 4 pixels width.
  3. Use "Polygon Tool" to create new panels that are not rectangle in shape. Make sure your rectangles are filled with white. You can tune lines and filling of already created rectangles at "Tool Options" panel for selected Rectangle. Use "Select Shapes Tool" for selecting.
  4. You can edit shape of any polygon with "Edit Shapes" tool.
  5. Delete old unneeded rectangular panels.

Slanted corners? Could you provide an image about what do you want? With "Edit Shape Tool" you can make corners of a rectangle rounded.

you can use "black outline as FX-layer" for any white box.

and if you have a lot of works on manga i recommend you Clip studio paint.
