Report a translation problem
Try to rollback Krita to 4.3.0 in steam -> properties -> betas -> select rollback version.

Configure Krita > General > uncheck 'Enable Autosaving'. Then try restart the program and see the difference. If you still want autosave then try increasing the autosave interval.
Alternatively you can also increase the amount of ram Krita is allowed to use. Give it a few extra hundred mb but dont give it tooo much ram. I have mine at 70% (out of 8gb ram total) but you definitely dont need that much.
