Snapping

So I finally raged for the last time at photoshop and cancelled my subscription and found Krita. I'm liking it so far, and I'm considering buying it here to support them.

However one thing is really bothering me. Snapping to a grid doesn't seem to work the way I want it to. For example, I have a square in cell A. I am trying to copy the square over to cell B. The problem is that it does not snap to the center of the cell, rather one of the edges. I found that you could copy and drag the square into the cell by draging on one of the corners into another corner of cell B, but the problem is that it seems to only snap in one direction. For example, it will "snap" to the grid line, but I can still drag it up one axis, and it's making it difficult to consistently copy things to other cells. Any solution to this?

EDIT: I ended up disabling everything that it would snap to except for grids, and it worked.
