Small straight lines
So I don't know if it's just my laptop, but when I'm drawing, lines aren't smooth, but instead they are just small, flat lines linked together.

(Not the line edges, or the jaggedness, but lines themselves)

I tried with performance settings, but no matter what the result is always the same, just small straight lines linking together to form the line that I draw.

Ive had the same issue since the patch. I thought it was lag so I turned off other things, but it didn't help.

It happens only when I draw with my canvas fully viewed, but if it smoothens out when zoomed in

What might work is if you go to the top tool bar where it shows the icon of the current brush you are using, you can go down and check mark a box for auto smoothing, if that doesn't work, I'd try adjusting it manually.

Are you drawing with a tablet pen or a mouse?

Are you having the issue on the default branch (recently updated to Krita 4.3.0), the rollback branch (Krita 4.2.9) or both?

I have the latest version (4.3.0), it's occuring when I have the canvas set on full view but it goes away when I zoom in, which is making it bit difficult when making longer lines or brush strokes

Does this still happen when you active the "rollback" branch? (Right-Click Krita > Properties > Betas Tab > select "rollback") Enabling this branch will temporarily roll things back to the last version (4.2.9).

If it works correctly on the rollback branch but not in the default branch then it's probably a some newly introduced bug and we will do our best to fix it ASAP. Please keep me posted and I'll try to help get this resolved.

edit: I just tested the latest version of Krita on Steam for both Windows and Linux and wasn't able to reproduce your issue, unfortunately.

Can you please double check to make sure you have the absolute latest drawing tablet and other hardware drivers installed?

So I had tried with both suggestions to roll back to previous version (4.2.9), and to check auto-smoothing box, but with no changes. I also checked for any hardware and software, which there were some, along with updating my OS, but regardless when having full view on canvas, and making a stroke to make a simple, free line, it still shows that it's same short, straight lines connected to make the inital line I would make. But if zoomed in closer on the canvas the lines smoothen out as expected without any issues.

I had also tried adjusting performance and display settings for Krita, and lowering the settings does improve performance, which originally I don't have issues with, but still, when zoomed out on whole canvas or further out, the lines made are still formed just the same. Small short lines connected together to form the line I would make.

I'm also using a graphics tablet (https://www.amazon.com/Wacom-Intuos-Draw-Old-Version/dp/B010LHRFM2), one in this link, which is updated with the latest updates it had, and generally has no issues with general usage, as well as when using other drawing programs such as MediBangPaint Pro.

I saw someone's reply with a screenshot of what I am talking about, and yeah that is what I'm dealing with. Is that intentional or is there a way for me to have that sorted out somehow?
