‣ Stabilizer's off by default. Issue remains.
2.) Try another scaling mode like trilinear. Settings ‣ Configure Krita ‣ Display.
‣ Changing scaling mode does nothing but make lines look more pixelated. Issue remains.
3.) Try a lower channel depth than 16-bit.
‣ Assuming that that's the HDR Settings, it's set to 8 bit. Issue remains.
4.) For NVidia, try a 16-bit floating point color space.
‣ Same as #3, but moved to 16 bit. Issue remains.
5.) For older AMD CPU’s (Krita 2.9.10 and above), turn off the vector optimizations that are broken on AMD CPUs. Settings ‣ Configure Krita ‣ Performance. This isn’t needed if you’ve got an AMD Threadripper™ CPU.
‣ Checked the box, restarted. Issue remains.
6.) It’s a fairly memory hungry program, so 2GB of RAM is the minimum, and 4GB is the preferable minimum.
‣ I have 8GB of RAM. Issue remains.
7.) Check that nothing else is hogging your CPU
‣ Restarted PC, closed Discord, Spotify, Google Chrome, and any other program I could before running Krita other than Steam. Issue remains.
8.) Check that Instant Preview is enabled if you’re using bigger brushes (but for very small brushes, make sure is disabled).
‣ On or off, the issue remains.
9.) Set brush precision to 3 or auto.
‣ Already set to auto, tried setting it to 3. Issue remains.
10.) Use a larger value for brush spacing.
‣ Set to 1 and 2. Issue remains.
11.) Check whether OpenGL is enabled, and if it isn’t, enable it. If it is enabled, and you are on Windows, try the Angle renderer. Or disable it.
‣ Enabled OpenGL, and tried Angle renderer. Then, disabled it. Issue remains.
