Krita
How to make Krita look like other painting programs like Clip Studio or Paint Tool Sai?
Krita was the very first painting program I used, back in 2015, and I'm used to its interface already. However, some of my fellow artists get a little intimitated to give Krita a try because it doesn't look like anything they've used before, so I thought maybe if it looked a bit more similar to something they've used -like Clip Studio or Paint Tool Sai- they'd give it a chance.

So yeah! Is there a way to make it look like other programs?

The easiest way is to get something close to what you want by rearranging all of the "dockers" (little windows) in a way that's similar to whatever program they're used to. You can do this by clicking on the title bar/name tag of any existing docker and dragging to a different edge of the screen. You can remove dockers or add extra dockers from the Settings > Dockers menu. You can also edit keyboard shortcuts to make things even more like what they're used to. Then you can save both the workspace and the keyboard shortcut set and share them with your friend.

I don't know for sure, but it's also possible that somebody online has already made a Krita workspace or shortcut set that's close to what you want. So maybe also search for that. If not, maybe you can share the one that you create!

Finally, one of the things that makes Krita special is that it's open source, which means that anybody is free to go into the program's source code and make any mods or changes that they want. This obviously requires a bit more work and some knowledge of C++ and Qt coding, but in effect it means that there are almost no limits to what you, I, or anybody else can do. That's probably a bit beyond what you're looking to do, but it's just something cool about Krita that most other programs cannot say! =]

Good luck and thanks for trying to spread the word about Krita!

Yeah I looked for a workspace made by the community on the internet. I was expecting someone had a link in here. No luck. I'll do it if I have time :msfortune:

Thanks for the response
