New content, better graphics on a new engine, better workshop support for community-made custom puzzles.
This game will continue getting new community-made custom puzzles for many years after its release, just like Portal 2.
I still don't regret buying the game though because I do want to see more from Croteam and want to support their future dev / projects. IDK I just kinda wish there was a bit more. Community Puzzle will definitely help if it catches steam.
They should take a beat from Control / Remedy Entertainment. They do Faden Fridays to keep the community engaged which always comes back with some cool photo-mode images and discussion. That game has been out forever and they still get engagement.
It can also be cheesed like crazy for fun exploits.
