Developer Commentary?

How do I enable developer commentary? I started playing and have not run into any. I watched a video on youtube and the youtuber had developer commentary in locations that are empty for me. Do I need to beat the game or something to unlock the developer commentary or is there an option in the settings to enable it?

I have already beaten the original twice now and do not want to go through the game 2 more times to listen to all of the developer commentary personally. Mainly because of how much lag I experience in the levels in this reawakened version. I love the game otherwise.

It's in the options.

I'm playing with them enabled and find it very interesting to listen to.
