But if you still want to grab star (or even solve the whole puzzle) the alternative way, the level have a funny high shooting Easter Egg you can use. You can "aim" for the sigil, or the wall next to the fan you used too climb. Would be a very good idea to plan ahead and place a connector on top of the two boxes so you can reach from fence.
Please elaborate. Instructions so far unclear.
If you need more info on how to do it just ask, I don't know if you want a direct solution or someone to point subtle hints.
One of them have a funny surprise when you touch it that you can "abuse".
The jetpack won't be accessible until you collect the star.
Ah, that's a clever trick. I'll have to try that.
I was so stuck on "it has to be reachable with just the tools in the Weathertop puzzle" that I did not even think about this option.
Thank you!
"Jammer Quarantine" (Blue beam to Connector above fan) --> "Three Little Connectors and a fan" (redirect via Connector above fan - may need 2 boxes below) --> "Weathertop" (after completion, a metal gate opens, allowing reaching the blue receiver with just 2 connectors)
Omg I just went in-game because I didn't know of any weathertop easter egg and found that, hadn't seen that before
Again, that's not going to help you get the star -- the jetpack only becomes availabel AFTER solving all the puzzles AND collecting the star.
It is definitely the intended solution, because Talos never required the player to do any real platforming/parkour, even for stars (and even for Gehenna stars). It's all designed so even a novice gamer can do everything by walking, with required jumps limited to the orange footprints.
I'm not talking about the jetpack and neither was joridiculous 😂👍
Probably, it's sensible and has precedent. There are footsteps on the rocks and walls too though, pretty sure the footsteps will show up just about anywhere so idk what the difference is. I think on some puzzles croteam leaves multiple options on purpose tbh, like weathertop.
no ones been mentioning the jetpack.
Go ahead and kindly reveal what easter egg do you propose to abuse (and how) to reach that star.
