Left Trigger not picking up beam redirector thing

Anyone else have this happen? Left trigger (on xbox controller) won't pick up the crystal beam redirector thing, only right trigger. this causes all the existing connection to remain. left trigger is supposed to cancel them all.

right now left trigger does nothing. it did not used to be like this last time i played

Had this happen to me, LT became unresponsive although RT was working fine. It started in A4 after I went to the main hall of A to unlock the cube.

I’ve had this happen repeatedly on PC with the original steam controller and on the steam deck. It happened every once in a while in the main game and in the beginning. Right now I’m playing Gehenna and it’s happening very frequently, in almost every puzzle.

Yes, it happened to me too, the left trigger temporarily not working. Going to the main menu and back seems to fix it.

Here it's Right Trigger not working sometimes. And that have mainly been when game is not fully in focus (you cant even tell until it happens) after loading or even alt-tab.

thanks for comments, all. i did indeed get it to work again by either going to main menu and back or alt+tabbing to windows and back

I have had this happen multiple times on both triggers. The way I fixed it was to "remap" the controller to L1 and R1 again, and this seemed to fix the problem for a while, but sometimes it does stop working again at random times.

It seems predictable for me. Every time I use the terminals in Gehenna, my L1 trigger stops working.

Yes Ive had this issue numerous times as well; suddenly the left LB to pick up objects just stops working on my Xbox elite controller. When this happens... a quick fix is just use the mouse left click to pick up the object once .. then the controller will start working again... who knows why :P lol And it will stay working again for some time.
