Tetris puzzle is stupid
WHY THE HELL DID THE DESIGNERS CREATE THE STUPID TETRIS PUZZLE? All you need to do is just try, try many times and when you get luck, you solve the puzzle. The game is fun, but the tetris is a total failure!

that's the easiest parts of the game, if you're struggling with those how are you gonna do the actual puzzles?

Actually, I already solved all normal puzzles and I'm going to get all stars. It's not the problem of easy or not, it's the problem of fun or not. The tetris is the most boring part of the whole game. I prefer to think how to solve normal puzzle than sit here to find a solution of tetris.

then you should have no trouble with it since you're so good at puzzles, they're not gonna remove them or make them skippable

"Git Gud at puzzles" is a poor response to someone venting frustration over these TYPES of puzzles. Not everyone's brain is wired for the same kinds of puzzle solving. I also struggled with the more complex tetromino puzzles both back when I played the original and somewhat in the remaster. And I completed Talos, Gehenna, Talos 2 and Elysium all without much assistance.

Sometimes, you're just not wired for a certain kind of thinking and the best you can do is look up the solution.

When I played the game, I completed everything without using a walkthrough — except for the stars. I genuinely think most of the level design in this game is brilliant, even on par with Portal.
But the tetris puzzles really dragged down the overall quality. What I'm trying to say is that these puzzles feel out of place in a game like this — almost like they cheapen the experience. I don’t feel like they serve as a refreshing change of pace; instead, they completely break the game’s smooth rhythm.
Yeah those tetronimo parts are bs.
Was really happy seeing they removed them in TTP2, until the first damned bridge came. Though tbh those bridges are a whole lot better than the sigils puzzles

Puzzles...in MY puzzle game?! :angry_yeti:

I do sympathize though. They are for sure not as fun as the main puzzles and the bigger ones can take a few minutes for sure.

You should install Sigils of Elohim if you really hate these puzzles :)

When my streamer friend told me about Sigils of Elohim and how she was going to play it I threw up in my mouth a little.

Life doesn't always give you easy puzzles... you need to learn to deal with difficult puzzles too. Or consult a guide :happyBUD:
I have completed Sigils of Elohim and agree with OP. TTP is at its best when you are utilizing the 3-D space to finding solutions to collecting the sigils and stars and uncovering the secrets and easter eggs. The 2-D tetromino puzzles are the weakest part of the game, which is probably the main reason they did not include them in the sequel. I want to run around the beautiful environments they created and cheese the stars- not stare at a flat surface do to this game's equivalent of a Su Doku. I'm a little surprised that they didn't upgrade the hint system to include these pace-killing patience pits.

OP, there excellent guides on Steam that list the solutions. I'm on my third playthrough and have no qualms looking up the tetronimo puzzle solutions when they take me longer than 10 seconds.

I actually kinda like the tetris puzzles, adds some variety and a bit of satisfaction when you solve it and the door opens.
after listening to the developer‘s comment on puzzle design(world -A i think?)and saw the picture with blue paper Tetris blocks,i suddenly realised these puzzles are like “Klotski”or other sliding puzzles. i mean they do have some kind of inner logic instead of pure trail&error? normally i just crammed all available blocks in first, and see how to change the combination to fit the remaining spaces:steammocking:
