Did any of you play this game??

If you tried this for yourself you would see that they infact, do die. Although for some reason it is much harder to kill them, you have to crouch down right next to them and shoot in their legs mostly.

I can only assume they have strange hitboxes or something possibly vestigial from them being the same characters visable in the cutscene. (yes, I understand the cutscenes are prerendered)
