Battle Rifle and Needle Rifle?

Are they relegated to just the bonus missions? I'm 3/4 of the way through the main campaign and I've seen all the other added weapons, but not these two. I haven't gotten to the bonus mission yet but I'm just wondering if the BR and NR aren't in the main missions at all. Can't seem to find any info on that when searching.

Never seen the BR but NR showed up on the level Keys from some flood guys in sniper positions on legendary.

Can confirm I also experienced this on normal difficulty. NR on Keyes but no BR sightings. BRs seem to only be in the bonus missions playing when vanilla. If you turn on the skull that randomizes placed weapons in the missions (when you unlock it), I think that's the best bet for finding/using it in the OG campaign.

There is a skull that can change the spawns of weapons so they can show up more, but I think that skull only comes up after you do the prequal missions
