Halo Campaign Evolved Player Count
Halo Campaign Evolved Player Count:

You know a game is doing not so great based on the Player Count.

The following information uses Historical data (for the previous Halo Games) based on the first week the game the games were released.

Halo Combat Evolved (2001): No Launch data exists as game was entirely offline multiplayer & local splint screen.

Halo 2 (2004): 100,000 concurrent players on Xbox live within the first 48 hours of the games releases which resulted in overwhelming the Xbox Live servers.

Halo 3 (2007): More than 1.1 million players logged into Xbox Live to play within the first 20 hours of launch.

Halo Wars (2009): Reached roughly 250,000 players during its first week.

Halo 3: ODST (2009): 600,000 players within 48 hours of release.

Halo Reach (2010): 900,000 concurrent players within the first week.

Halo 4 (2012): 400,000 concurrent players within the first 5 days of release

Halo MCC (2014/2019): 161,024 concurrent players

Halo 5: Guardians (2015): Microsoft confirmed it drove the highest active player count since Halo 5 for 7 concurrent days but the caps were kept internal.

Halo Wars 2 (2017): 30,000 players within the first week of release.

Halo Infinite (2021): 272,86 concurrent players within the first 24 hours.

Halo Campaign Evolved (2026): 25,376 concurrent players in 7 days.

As we can see, in 7 days, Halo Campaign Evolved hasn't even reached Halo Wars 2 player count.

Not defending this slop but I don't think that's accurate to compare like that.

Different eras, different audiences and different markets.
Its £50-70 for a single player game that's half of what the original game was. Most people probably went to game pass for this one myself included. The game is not bad actually enjoying it so far. As someone who actually played Halo on Xbox and PC for silly amounts of hours with friends when it come out they did alright with this. That era of gaming is sadly long gone even if it had MP it wouldn't feel the same. I actually enjoyed the campaign the most with halo in co op

Steam almost never offers the best prices.

And none of my games have ever been taken away from me
Current price for Halo Campaign Evolved (Standaed edition) via Steam is $89.95 AUD

AUD to USD its $62.45
AUD to GBP its $46.97
AUD to EUR its $54.83

For the Premium Edition via Steam its $120.00 AUD

AUD to USD its $83.30
AUD to GBP its $62.67
AUD to EUR its $73.14
It is safe, sanitized woke slop like all other xbox first party titles these days. That ticks all the boxes for corporate risk mitigation. They are creatively bankrupt.
