Am I doing something wrong?

So I got the green eyes quest back at level 6. I've now been having the "assasin" acutal enemy name that randomly attacks me not Mari dogging me for 12 levels. Then I got the glyph quest. Am now level 38 and started keeping track, hadn't bothered before. She's jumped me 38 times in town since I defeated her 50 times in dungeons. Tried each dungeon I could find multiple times. eventually just stuck to ancient sewers cause I like the lack of clutter all over the floor.

Anyway she only appears right after I drop a floor so I have started simply dropping down as soon as I find the next floor hole. When I get her to about half life she stand there for a sec displaying a "talk" option that I can't actually use then jumps away.

Is this perhaps because my Nico quest is bugged? After I read the note in the cell my journal says completed but he still asks if I've found her yet and my only speach option is something like "no but I've got the tattoo and will keep looking". Otherwise I must just have the worst luck...

oops sorry reread and realized it was kinda half thought out. She's not dropping the bar key is what I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong about.

Mari (the assassin) drops the bar key in the East Ruins

Possibly 1 other place too however at the moment I forget where - but recommend visiting the east ruins and talk with her there.

Please let me know if it works ok in the East Ruins - Also...you sort of have me curious when you said...

Does a dialog line come up? if so what does the dialog say? even if its just text? because I think she should be droping the key in the dungeons too.

ok so umm wow, where to start. took me nearly an hour of going to each area on the map exiting , rinse and repeat before she finally spawned... no drop but instead broke the game. nothing else will spawn (even in other dungeons) untill I go back to town (I can't use a sewer warp at all or it won't work) and kill her (entering and exiting the pawn shop till she spawns) then manually walk all the way back to east ruins where I know know she spawns to kill her again. I've killed her 20 times without a drop till I posted this. following all those steps :(

ya know that pop up that comes up when ya can interact with something? has the blue E and a description of the action? It pops up indicating I can talk to her... but hitting E doesn't do anything and it disappears after she jumps away. no actual dialog from her in any way just the interaction indicator.

ok, figured out what my problem was. I hate melee therefore every time I defeated her (even at close range) I always had a crossbow equipped. I finally switched out cause I spent about 600 bolts killing her over and over but since she doesn't actually die theres no normal loot drops to replenish them.

first time I defeated her with a melee weapon equipped she promptly gave me a "ya nicked me" dialog (SHE initiated it automatically). then next defeat followed by another automatic dialog and key drop.

still no enemies in dungeons.

went to bar. guard dropped bolts :) quickly replaced hated pig sticker with pleasant can't reach me crossbow. killed her with crossbow again without thinking. she of course jumped away without dropping sword. I left and reentered bar, repeated with melee weapon she automatically initiated conversation upon defeat and gave me sword.

oh yeah i forgot... you have to hit her with melee weapon in order to get her to initiate the dialog to progress... I will think about how to fix that

I have hit her only with melee weapons and tried fire spell but she keeps jumping away and saying "We'll meet again". I have tried more than 20 times to finish this quest called 'Find Green Eyes'.

The quest log does not even hint where roughly to go or what to do at all...

Is there a console command way to just finish the quest please... this is extremely annoying, I have wasted hours last year and this year attempting to finish this quest.

I'm extremely close to just uninstalling and walking away and not even attempting to play your other games at all.

Edit: Went into a door called "Cave" because on the map it is the closest thing that I could see that had anything to do with East Ruins that you mentioned on the map, it was a dungeon so thought it might be the right place. Ran into her 2 times and she still jumped away and disappears saying "We'll meet again".

This has taken way too much of my time, the character is a level 82 Witch Dhampir and half of those levels are from trying to do this quest.....

I am sorry but I'm uninstalling and unsubscribing from this thread, I can not endure this any longer, I'm going to delete this game from my life and pretend it never existed.
