Guide to what the stats mean? (answered - manual)
Unless I've missed it, there doesn't seem to be any mention of exactly what the different stats mean. Here are my guesses:

Strength: Can carry a higher weight. Maybe there are melee weapons later that use this for extra damage?

Aim: Better chance to hit.

Constitution: Can move further, might contribute more to Sanity than other stats.

Intelligence: I can't see any use, other than some equipment has a minimum intelligence score. Maybe linked to trap success rate?

Morale: Less likely to panic when low Sanity (I think). Maybe also affects other members of the team? (based on it being the main stat of a Leader class).

Sanity: Your hp basically. Increases with level.

Are there guides on how to increase your stats? I know it's on an 'act to improve this stat' system. Like Aim increases with successful shots, Intelligence with trapping, Constituion with moving around and so on.

You can upgrade a hunter's stats once you've got an upgraded headquarters with a training room. Make sure they're in your headquarters (not in the car), then click on the weight lifting bench in the training room. Once you click on the bench, you can select which hunter you wish to increase the stats on. You can then choose which stat to increase by clicking on the stars next to the stat. The more stars you 'train' the hunter, the higher the stat will go. Note that training costs both time and money, so it can be a good idea to have an extra hunter around to take on missions while one is in training. Hope this helps. :)

Alright, I've looked at the manual, and still need some help. The manual includes an investment banker class that doesn't seem to exist, and has seven regions for improvement when there are only six non-derived stats. Further, rather than just listing the stats outright, it lists a set of euphemisms running the clarity scale from "crystal clear" to "plain as mud." It seems like someone's sense of humor got the best of them. May I request some clarification please?

The big question I have about stats is, how does a hunter's "aim" stat interact with a weapon's "precision" stat? Is a great sniper only as good as his weapon? Do they average out? Is a hunter's aim divided by something and added to a weapon's precision?
Since the game does not give actual percentages of chance of hitting enemies, this is hard to reverse-engineer.
