How to use crafting tools?
After update I started to find some crafting tools in big chests. Recently I found grinding wheel that gives +1 quality for polish buff and some like camertone that makes all skills cost 1 step before first trigget. But how I am supposed to use them? I can't equip them, can't consume them and also wielding them through hotbar doesn't work.

That was something I was thinking at first too, but actually it's pretty simple. You can "Equip" them on the crafting stations. Just put it like you would place a block on crafting station, and it should automaticly stick on it's place. Some items are only for certain crafting stations, like I think Grinding Wheel is for default crafting station.

Yep, and that other thing sticked to Syle Chamber. I suppose it only affects items that require this exact crafting station.

I added a section to the guide that shows all the 'attachments' I've found so far; how to use them and what each does.

Glad you figured it out. I'm going to expand the description to include a quick instruction on how to use them and what crafting station an attachment goes with. Something we completely overlooked!

looks like all items atm, dont connect to the crafting bench or whatnot, i have about 5 items that will not connect to any of the crafting bits so i dont know if i am doing anything wrong.

A little refinement wheel thing, a thing that looks like a triangle with a stand, a eye zoom glass, the iron iget thing.

anyways.

I've done some work on breaking out the crafting information from my guide, to create a standalone version. Adding a lot of content from posts here on the forum. Here's the part on the attachments:

Attachments/Tools

The items below are found in Imperial Chests and can be placed on your crafting station by left clicking them in your bag and clicking on your station. They assist in the crafting process with a light nudge here and there. Read the descriptions below for each to see what they add the to process.

On the Forge:

Blacksmith Hammer - Modifies 'Convert Chaos', +25% chaos conversion to quality
Bellows - +25% quality and +25% Chaos
Ingot Mold - +25 initial quality (ingots only)
Slack Tub - Prevent Chaos from being gained every 8 steps

On Work Bench

One of these(you can change them by applying a new one, the old one will drop):

Renewal Crystal - +5 quality when a skill recharges
Balance Crystal - Adds trigger, rounds to nearest 50 and +3 steps on next trigger
Catalyst Attuner - +1 quality for each level in Catalyst Research when using a catalyst
Remna Attuner - +25% initial quality

Spinning Wheel - +1 quality if quality is gained on each step.
Magnifying Glass - Modifies 'Focus', +2 Duration
Chisel Set - +2 Quality

On Syle Chamber

Pressure Gauge - -1 Chaos per step
Trigger Attachment - Modifies 'Delay', -2 Duration
Attuning Apparatus - All skills cost 1 until first trigger
Cooling Compartment - Increase CT steps by 1

Thank you so much for your information, The thing about this is that your totally correct and its hard to find any information about how to go about placing such items on said bits, But its from the inventory to the object that works.

I had even tryed placing items on my hotbar and then placing them on it but that wasn't working at all. So Thank you so much for your help in this area.

You're welcome.

I did the toolbar approach also. What I noticed is when I was moving these tools to a chest near the Forge, it lit up when I passed over it. Of course I didn't have a Forge tool on my cursor, so it took a little while to find all the right tools for the right stations.

If you have other questions, take a look at the crafting guide I put up tonight, it has this and many more insights from others and my experience.

It really is a decent game with depth, but can be very tricky on some items... I forgot to add to my guide that there are a number of things you can label, like chests and portals...
