"Magnificent Mechanisms" Update (v1.6) Changelog
Features
  • Items can now be connected to each other with a wiring system now
  • Completely reenvisioned dungeons
  • Vastly improved language support and added a Localizer tool to support Localization to new languages
  • Multiplayer has been greatly optimized and enhanced
  • Redesigned HUD Toolbar

Changes
  • Greatly optimized multiplayer code to require less 90% bandwidth
  • Movement: no gravity during roll, jump velocity, walk off block velocity reset, ledge grab only during fall
  • Players cannot pick up items while dead
  • Placing smaller items has been made easier
  • Updated collision masks on several items to make interacting with them easier
  • Auri trees now glow when fully grown
  • Added particles to poison effect
  • Repeating the same SFX in a short timeframe is now prevented
  • Upgraded illumination shader
  • New endgame equipment have been added exclusively to dungeons
  • Many new items added to support the new wiring system
  • Enchantments will no longer have attributes that cannot go together such as multiple elemental damage types
  • Monsters now regenerate health when out of combat
  • Monsters will now link in dungeons (if a monster sees another monster aggressive it will join in on the fray)
  • Several new monster paragon affixes have been added
  • Many new Apex monsters have been added
  • Stegaras now drop fur instead of wool
  • Lanteed seedlings HP percentage is now persisted if they manage to sprout
  • Lava deals damage more frequently and scales to the victim's level better
  • Add rename tooltip for way crystals and treasure chests
  • Dungeon crystals now have the level in the name and save the difficulty and level
  • Inventory collapsed/expanded state is now saved
  • Equipment tooltip now shows empty enchantment slots
  • Negative attributes on a tooltip are now colored red
  • Enchantment attributes are no longer combined and are displayed in the tooltip by priority
  • Sort the enchantment attributes on the Enchant UI the same as the tooltip
  • Display a message on main menu when pressing a button the the controller
  • Travel UI does not open when initially activating a Way Crystal
  • When unlocking a boss realm the Travel UI switches to the Realm tab to help highlight a new Realm can be explored
  • Only show the Siege Games splash on initial load

  • Resolved crash from attempting to add a collision with particles
  • Resolved multiple crashes caused by a removed player being received by the server
  • Resolved crash with creating housing on world seam
  • Resolved crash in multiplayer caused by interacting with a treasure chest that had a unique item in it
  • Resolved issue in multiplayer where a client would show HP and SP regeneration twice
  • Resolved issue with targeting allies with spells not working
  • Resolved issue with placing an item causing the next mouse button press to be ignored
  • Resolved issue with grappler hook not working on the client
  • Resolved issue with scavenger selling equipment and enchantments in multiplayer

Patch v1.6.1 Changelog
  • Selecting seeds on toolbar and no longer immediately uses them (now shows the preview)
  • Resolved issues with bomb and dart traps not playing the expended animation correctly
  • Resolved issue with Spirit Drain attribute
  • Resolved issue with Syle Attractor objective not working in multiplayer
  • Resolved issue with selling items in multiplayer
  • Resolved issue with some dungeon rooms requiring movement upgrades
  • Resolved issue with some items not showing use animation (some still are not so this is a WIP)
  • Resolved with Chaos Bed not working properly when placed at the top or bottom of the world
  • Autotargeting yourself when using support spells now works even when cursor is out of spell range
  • Greatly optimized Bouncing Sawblade trap to reduce lag in dungeons
  • Reduced vertical space requirement for Realm Crystals to allow them to fit into tighter spaces
  • Mechanical gates placement is now consistent (Thanks Simek!)
  • Motion detectors are no longer triggered by dropped items (Thanks Simek!)

  • Changed motion detectors from detecting other entities than player or monster in "All" mode (Thanks Simek!)
  • Fixed mechanical gates placement (Thanks SImek!)
  • Fixed invisible spawn spheres (Thanks Simek!)
  • Items are now filtered alphabetically on the Crafting window (Thanks Simek!)
  • Resolved issue with enchanting enchantments issue caused by using sorted attributes in UI (Thanks Simek!)
  • Water and Lava now how a "Fast" graphics variant
