5 Lever Puzzle

I'm in a dungeon where I cannot seem to get past this ridiculous 5-lever puzzle. I don't see anything in the game that hints as to which order / direction I need to flip the levers. I've literally spent 10 minutes flipping them back and forth... I'm at the point of asking here on the forums:

Is there an actual way to figure out this stupid puzzle? Could it be bugged? Or for that matter, did they put an unsolvable puzzle into the game to see how long their players are fooled into messing with it?

when the lever is forward position [ / ] it is on, and backward [ \ ] is off, you just keep flipping it until theyre all in forward position

every lever also switches or not some other levers. So you have to find, logically or fortunately, the solution where all the levers will be / / / / /. Then you can open the powered chest nearby (it will glow blue when powered). Or open the door. Not sure though if there are 4-5 levers puzzles for doors too. Anyway, puzzles are surely not unsolvable.

And you could realise the correct direction visiting more dungeons. There are some doors that have just one single lever on their level
