Is it possible to get all the augment upgrades?
I think the game itself says it's not possible, but what if you find every book which gives exp, every hidden path, every praxis-tool and you hack every system and get acces to every database, also if you only take out enemies in close combat without killing them + doing all side quests and main quests without getting an alert or kill anyone?

Could it be possible if you do all that?

Even with no DLC it's possible, but this requires PERFECT PLAY with very little room for error. Guide here: http://deusex.wikia.com/wiki/Experience_by_area_(DX3)

Do you really need them all? I had so many praxis kits at the end, that I upgraded augments, that I did not really needed, just to waste them somehow. :)

You will need to earn a minimum of 235,000 expereience points plus buy all the praxis kits you can including the last two. And find all of the hidden praxis kits. You must complete the side quest that grant you praxis kits. Or just get 265.000 experience points. And not find all of them and buy a few.

I haven't actually upgraded all my Aug's. But, I've finished the game with almost all of them upgraded and still had some left over. I think I could have as I finished one playthrough.

I had developed a few hacking technics that allow me to get all the data nodes every time. Then, you also have to find all the secret pathways and finish all the side quests. Then, buying all the Praxis kits you can and finding all of the ones laying around, especially in hidden rooms. But, yea, I believe you can, just barely.
I might have to play through it again just to find out for sure.
on my playtrough i was about 6 points short from getting every upgrade, but depending on your style of playing you won´t need every single point; i had already upgraded some augs i didn´t need

I've descovered there are a few secrets to hacking that alow you to get double the normal XP's if you access all of the data nodes in the hack and take the red tower instead of the normal exit node. But, only if you do it on the first attempt at the hack. I haven't done it myself, but I've seen a vid capture of someone that did.

Even without that secret, I have come to believe it is possable. But, you have to go completely Pacifest, yet taking down every enemy without rasing any alarms. And you have to successfully hack every security device and computer, capturing every single data node for all the XP's you can get in their. and read every PDA of the "Doctorate" Achievement. You also have to complete every confersation with the best possable outcome, extracting the most XP's from each one. And find every secret place and route and completeing every side quest "non-lethally", and without being detected. That includes the DRB run, but then on the second trip in there, silently take down everybody without killing them. It can be done, but it is a bear.

I belive this because I have completed the entire play through doing exactly that, with the most notable exception of the "Doctorate" and maybe one or to takedowns I bypassed rather than setting off alarms.

Basically, you have to run a nearly perfect playthrough! But, I think it is possable. I think I might make that the goal of my next playthrough when I finally go for my "Doctorate" achievement.
Maybe I'll record it and post it on Youtube if I succeed.

Same with me. That's why I think it's possable.

Just found a link to the hacking secret I mentioned earlier.

There used to be an exploit involving Jensen's PC that, done right, could net you infinite experience points, allowing you to max out all of your augs even before the first mission. But they patched it out, as far as I can tell.

That really sounds possible if you do all that, so next time when I'm playing the game, I think I'll give it a try to get every augment, even if I know that I don't need every single augmentation cause of the play style and such, I'd be curios if I can get all, thank you for your great and long answer! :D

That exploit never was in the PC. I recently saw the Youtube video about it, and it was on an Xbox or playstation! I don't think it ever worked on a PC.

BTW, Here is a video made by the same person. Check it out. It's much more explanitory.

It shows her getting 1 Nuke and 1 Stop Worm the first time then getting 2 Nukes and 2 Stop Worms in second one. If you look, they were both, "first" attemps, just reloaded.

Thanks again goes to AlonaKo

Actually that exploit worked just fine on the pc version and in fact still does. Also that exploit works on every single hackable object in the game not just Jensen's terminal.

Yea, a friend of mine and I just figured it out. A little slow, sure, but here's a link on how.

I have managed to get every aug upgraded totally, except for one that was partial. In the end, I realized that I didn't need most of them most of the time so it was kind of redundant. Upgrading the hacking stuff was most useful because you have to hack absolutely everything and it's a pain in the arse after a while. And sneaking around to get the silent drop on every possible adversary...so time consuming. Now I just pull out the guns or bypass chokepoints. I couldn't try for total upgrade again. Loading and reloading all the time....
