Second boss: not enough equipment to defeat in any way?
I'm at the second boss battle, against the cloaking woman, at hardest difficulty. I only carry the submachine gun with circa 200 rounds and silenced 10mm because I play stealth. It's not like it's a hard battle, by now I've learned to evade her Typhoon and I follow her with Mark&Track, but it seems I'm unable to defeat her solely because of lack of ammunition. The SMG has the homing upgrade and I aim carefully, so all of these 200 bullets are most likely headshots, ammo runs out and she's still alive and kicking. I don't have frag explosives nor the Typhoon. Is there any other way to finish her or do I have to load the last save, which was WAY back?

You know there are weapons and ammo lockers in the boss room?

Hahahaha, thanks! I never paid close attention to them. And there's tons of supplies in there. Party time.

And I have some other problem. As soon as the video ends immediately die. Any idea?
Yelena is quite a challenge, although i had just played through Deux EX:HR on the hardest setting, i find that using the typhoon explosive system is very very very effective, 2 typhoon bursts killed yelena outright with me, EMP grenades are YOUR BEST chance at any augmented individual, slows the down, damages their systems and makes them clumsy due to the augmentation damage, i suggest then getting close, pressing F2 and utilising the typhoon, be aware one use of the typhoon uses up 1 bar of energy, use sparingly. and you must carry more than one gun, my usual loadout consists of

-fully upgraded, silenced combat rifle
-fully upgraded, silenced pistol
-explosive revolver
-stun gun
-tranquilizer rifle
-fully upgraded laser rifle
-3xemp grenades, 3x concussion, 1xfrag (just in case you want to be lethal)

P.S shoot out the power cores in the computer room, they can electrocute Yelena and stun her for a good chance at getting some decent headshots, and yes i play stealth completely, just got through another playthrough with minimal lethal kills.

hope that helps you out, gl and once you get past Yelena, man does the story deepen. :)

Yeah, her first charge is hard to avoid, especially if you entered the room in a crouched 100% sneaky stance like me :D Here's some tips if you can't counter with your own Typhoon:
Just try to immediately get up and run to the left or right, with jumping if possible. That should be enough to escape the attack. Then, she'll back away and do some cloaking and sneaking, make sure to mark her with Mark&Track before she's fully cloaked (if you don't have M&T, maybe destroying the power cores could help you...) Get some cover and damage her until she's ready to Typhoon you again. Now, how to avoid those 3 charges:
  • Find a wall.
  • Stay near the further end, so that she'll be running along the wall to you. Make sure you're on the correct side of the wall and you see her.
  • Just as she gets close, quickly hide on the other side of the wall. Her momentum is far too big to do a sharp 180 turn, so she'll just unload her Typhoon a bit farther away and the wall will shield you. Use your time to get to the other end and repeat.
Takes some practice, but when you grasp it, the fight will become way easier.

Two typhoon shots and shes laying on the floor bleeding to death. However since you said you don't have the typhoon, there's a nifty little room right before you go into the main battle area with a chain gun and ammo. After her initial charge she should disappear for a moment, when she re-appears strafe backwards and sideways along the outside wall while shooting her with the chaingun or your machine gun. Eventually she'll get close enough she'll try her own typhoon, if you're still running backward it'll miss and if you're lucky she'll be next to one of the computer cores and her typhoon will set it off paralyzing her for a moment. Rinse and repeat. Long explanation but very easy in practice.

There is a cheese tactic for every boss in the game so each boss battle takes <1 minute.

I hate them, but in case you didn't know I'll tell you. Get EMP shielding implant, have her run at you to those computer things on the wall. Shoot at the one she is next to. Repeat on the next one down and she should be dead. If not, keep going around the room. Should take you like 10 bullets and you probably won't get hit even once.

You don't need the EMP augment if you can find the dry spots on the field where the electricity won't toucn you. Shoot the generators and unload your most powerful weapon. I'm surprised a lot of people don't seem to know about it.
