I never use the kill takedown though. And I don't kill civies.
Second playthrough felt morally difficult but fun. Focused on brute strength, didn't have time to sneak around, killed any one who got a shot at me. Focused praxis points into armor perks, aiming stability, typhoon perks and strength whilst upgrading my arsenal with enhancements. Most of my actions ended up with someone dying, BUT, I didn't kill civillians. You begin to see people think of you as a killing machine.
On my second playthrough right now, playing on hardest settings trying to get the "Foxiest of Hounds" and "Pacifist" achievements in one run. This time I've sneaked by more people than I've subdued. So far, so good.
I never killed any civilians although I think on the final mission one of the crazed plant workers got killed by a proximity mine.
I never killed any MCBs or Harversters (fellow augs) but I killed 2 or 3 DRB when I had to (stunned one dude and he fell into an electrified sewer canal).
Belltower and spec ops were pretty much open season. Line em up w/ the silenced pistol for the headshot....so satisfying. It was funny, the belltower guard commander w/ the Australian accent (Khan), I stunned him in the first battle w/ him at the Alice Garden pods, then stunned him again in upper hengsha in his office and found a thousand credits on him. Later, when I went back to Hensha and was sneaking around the port, his team had set up inside one of the port warehouses, this time though I put that red dot on his head and sniped him w/ my 10mm through one of the skylights on the roof and killed him. He had another 1000 credits on him though. I guess the game rewards you for letting some of the named soldiers survive.
