The Missing Link DLC is missing on steam?

Hey everyone,

I own Deus Ex: Human Revolution and I want to buy the Missing Link DLC. However I could not find it on steam. I found some results on the web, however when I follow those web-links to steam I get to the steam welcome page.

Is it maybe due to the release of the Directors Cut that the former DLC has been removed (since its included in the Directors Cut)?

Yes, the Missing Link and the original version of Human Revolution have been taken off the site. A couple of us still have Deus Ex: Complete Collection in our inventories, but Human Revolution and The Missing Link are no longer listed as part of the pack, although the Steam gift says "includes Augmented Edition of Human Revolution." You could try trading someone for the original complete collection pack, but that's a bit of a gamble, because I'm not sure what you'd get if you activated it.

Your safest bet is to get the Director's Cut, although you may want to consider waiting until some of the graphic bugs are patched. Some people can run Director's Cut fine; others are still having significant difficulties getting it to run, even on good systems.

I guess I have to play the entire game from the beginning when I buy the Directors Cut now? Or is there the posibility to jump to the Missing Link chapter?

Excellent. Last time I checked up on it, nobody had opened their Steam Gift yet.

So there you go, OP. You could swap somebody that still has the original version in their Steam inventory.

Some stores are still apparently selling the Missing Link DLC. So I'd check stores like GMG, etc. For instance on GMG:
